Boys and Girls at Arroyo,Charter, and Mariposa are welcome to join us for our 4th and  5th grade basketball season this spring. There will be separate boys’ and girls’ teams(Pending Enrollment) and all teams will meet at least 2 times a week. All regular season games will be played between teams from the same school(Ex.Arroyo vs Arroyo). Once the regular season is over we will then have playoffs where the different school teams will play each other at the highest remaining seeds home court. Exact practice times will be determined soon, but the first session will begin the week of March 17th and run through late May.This is a semi-competitive program aimed to introduce and develop students into better basketball players. Score and rankings will be kept, but not placed ahead of the development of the player or person.

 

Evaluations: 

-Arroyo: 3/18, Time: 3:30-4:45, Location: Central Gym

-Mariposa/Charter: 3/19, Time: 3:30-4:45, Location TL Gym

Please Note - The program has no cuts and all players will make a team. Please do your best to attend our evaluation days as this will help us to ensure we create as balanced teams as possible.

Practices:Practices will be once a week at the same location every week, times may range by one hour each week. Games will be the same day and location each week until playoffs.

Season: The season will run for approx. 6 weeks with 6-8 games played between Arroyo, Charter, and Mariposa. 

 

UNIFORMS - Each player will get a RENTAL school uniform. If you/your student damages, loses or neglects to return the uniform, you will then be charged a $50 replacement fee.
